Last week, Philippa & Anita travelled to the UAE for a busy and rewarding few days in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, combining community events, candidate meetings and time spent strengthening relationships across the region.

Our visit reflected the continued growth of private staffing opportunities in the Middle East, and the importance of maintaining strong, in-person connections with both candidates and clients working within UHNW households.

Dubai Community Event

One of the highlights of the trip was hosting our Silver Swan Community Event in Dubai, bringing together House Managers, Estate Managers and Private PAs currently working across the UAE.

These events are designed to create a relaxed, discreet space for professionals in private service to connect with peers who truly understand the roles they undertake. The evening offered an opportunity to share experiences, exchange insight and strengthen relationships within our growing regional community.

Candidate Drop-In

Alongside the community event, we also hosted a candidate drop-in session, welcoming individuals keen to discuss current and upcoming roles, career progression and working within private households across the Middle East and internationally.

Meeting candidates face-to-face allows us to gain a deeper understanding of experience, aspirations and long-term goals – something that remains central to our recruitment approach.

Exploring Abu Dhabi

The trip also gave us the opportunity to spend time in Abu Dhabi, exploring the city and furthering our understanding of the region’s evolving private staffing landscape. With increasing demand for experienced private staff across the UAE, it’s vital for us to stay closely connected to the areas we recruit in.

Looking Ahead

Our time in Dubai and Abu Dhabi reinforced the strength of the Silver Swan community in the Middle East and the value of being present on the ground. We look forward to returning to the region and continuing to support both private households and private staff across the UAE.
