We are working with a luxury chalet operator in St Anton to find a Chef and Host couple to run one of their intimate chalets, catering for up to 12 guests. This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced couple to take full ownership of a small, characterful chalet, delivering a warm and personalised guest experience from the kitchen through to the front of house.

Working together as a pair, one of you will lead the kitchen and the other will lead the hosting, while both remaining flexible and hands-on across each other's areas. The chef will help with service when hosting larger groups, and there is no rigid front-of-house/back-of-house divide — both of you will interact directly with guests throughout their stay. You will be part of a wider resort team of around 30 staff, working within a well-established and supportive company structure.

Live-in accommodation is provided in a three-bedroom apartment in the centre of town, just across the road from the chalet, shared with two other members of staff. A dedicated driver team supports the resort, so no driving duties are required in this role.

You MUST hold an EU passport.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare breakfast, afternoon tea and a multi-course evening dinner for up to 12 guests
• Deliver a warm, professional welcome and food service to guests throughout their stay
• Run the chalet together as a team of two, covering both kitchen and hosting duties
• Assist with front-of-house service for larger groups, moving fluidly between kitchen and hosting duties
• Interact directly and confidently with guests, creating a relaxed and personable atmosphere
• Maintain an open-door approach to the kitchen while keeping service organised and efficient
• Oversee ordering, stock control and food budgeting for the chalet
• Maintain the cleanliness, hygiene and presentation of the chalet to a luxury standard
• Manage guest requests, dietary requirements and special occasions with care and flexibility
• Liaise closely with resort management and the wider team of around 30 staff
• Support colleagues across the wider chalet portfolio as required during busy periods

Ideal Candidate

• EU passport holders
• An experienced couple able to work closely together in a small, intimate chalet environment
• Winter season experience strongly preferred
• Chef with solid restaurant or chalet experience
• Confident, personable and comfortable engaging with guests throughout the day
• Strong command of English
• Professional and adaptable, able to slot into a larger resort team
• Flexible approach, happy to step outside strict role divides when needed
• No driving licence required

Package

• Working schedule: full winter season
• Live-in accommodation provided – shared three-bedroom apartment, town centre, across the road from the chalet
• Salary: €3,650 – €3,950 net per month combined (depending on chalet and experience)
• End-of-season bonus and tips earned throughout the season
• Ski hire and lift pass
