We are working with a UHNW family in Virginia Water to help them find an experienced Private Housekeeper to work on a permanent full-time basis. The role has arisen to support the family's existing housekeeper, who has relocated with the family to the UK, and the successful candidate will work alongside her within a large, beautifully maintained five-bedroom private residence.

This is predominantly a Monday to Friday role, working 9am – 5pm, with flexibility available. The property is substantial, with five ensuite bedrooms, together with a pool, sauna, gym, cinema room and a number of communal areas, and the household is looking for a second pair of hands to maintain it to the standard the family expects.

Full training will be provided, and the family are genuinely warm, generous employers who value and look after their staff.

The property is a short walk from Virginia Water station; candidates travelling by train will be provided with an Uber from the station, though a local candidate with their own car would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of a large five-bedroom private residence to an exceptional standard
• Carry out daily housekeeping duties, including cleaning, dusting, and the general upkeep of principal and communal areas
• Care for and maintain the five ensuite bedrooms located on the top floor of the property
• Support the upkeep of the property's leisure facilities, including the pool, sauna, gym, and cinema room
• Manage laundry, ironing, and garment care as required
• Work closely and collaboratively alongside the family's existing Housekeeper
• Support the smooth day-to-day running of a busy, large household
• Ensure household and cleaning supplies are well-stocked and properly organised
• Maintain the highest standards of discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality at all times
• Adapt flexibly to the family's daily schedule and the evolving needs of the household
• Undertake occasional additional duties as reasonably directed by the family

Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience within a private household and/or five-star hotel environment essential
• Excellent attention to detail and consistently high cleaning standards
• Fluent English essential
• Professional, reliable, and positive in approach
• Comfortable working closely alongside another Housekeeper and as part of a small team
• Own car and full driving licence preferred; alternatively, able to commute via train
• Willing to undertake full training provided by the family
• Genuinely seeking a long-term role within a household that values and looks after its staff
• Flexible, adaptable, and hands-on in approach

Package

• Working schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm, with some flexibility required
