Silver Swan Recruitment was launched in 2013 by Philippa Smith. When she started managing HR for a leading luxury ski tour operator, she realised exactly how challenging it was to attract and retain 5* hospitality professionals to work in luxury chalets. At the time, there was no apparent specialised agency in the market, which is why she launched Silver Swan to provide this much-needed support.
Silver Swan soon expanded when chalet owners started requesting help with staffing their villas during the summer seasons. It wasn’t long before requests extended to permanent residences, yachts, and jets worldwide.
