We are seeking a hands on, experienced Housekeeper for a lovely young family of 5 in Cambridgeshire. There is a laundress and cleaners employed, and they have 2 cats. The main house is a large 10 bedroom household and there are cottages on the estate also. It is a working stud farm with horses, and there is an estate office on site. This is a close knit team, and it’s very much an ‘all hands on deck’ environment, so we are looking for a hands on housekeeper who is happy to help when needed. 

Candidates MUST have the right to live and work in the UK. 

Duties of the housekeeper: 

  • Assisting with cleaning, laundry, and ironing 
  • Family style cooking and fridge filling when needed 
  • Helping with dinner parties – cleaning and serving 
  • Overseeing household stock and cleaning supplies
  • Household shopping and errands 
  • Organising pantries, kitchens, and bathrooms
  • Ensuring the household is organised and running more efficiently

Ideal candidate:

  • Previous experience in private households 
  • MUST have the right to live and work in the UK 
  • Team player, good sense of humour 
  • Professional and switched on 
  • Flexibility is key 

Package:

Working week: 5 days/week, 40-50 hours/week depending on how busy it is. Occasional weekend work when needed
Accommodation: Initially an annexe space with shared living space – 1 & 2 bedroom apartments will be ready in 2-3 months. Partners and pets allowed. Secure garden attached to the property
