
Silver Swan is seeking a dynamic and hands-on Head of Maintenance to lead the maintenance department for our esteemed client's estate in Doha, Qatar. Responsibilities:

Direct and lead the maintenance department, taking a hands-on approach to maintenance activities.

Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance staff and external contractors to ensure high standards of quality and efficiency.

Inspect and assess maintenance requirements, making recommendations and executing repairs or improvements as necessary.

Develop and implement maintenance schedules, ensuring the estate remains in optimal condition.

Monitor and manage inventory, ordering supplies and equipment as needed.

Collaborate with the Estate Manager to develop maintenance procedures and strategies.

Provide detailed and accurate reports on maintenance activities, expenditures, and recommendations.

Stay up to date with knowledge of GCC country-specific regulations and procedures.
Ideal Candidate:

Extensive hands-on experience in maintenance and a deep understanding of various maintenance tasks, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

Proven leadership skills with the ability to work on the ground alongside the maintenance team.

Practical, problem-solving mindset and the capacity to oversee and coordinate maintenance projects.

Strong communication and reporting skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with the estate owner.
