Silver Swan is currently seeking a highly qualified Governess to manage a team of 4-6 nannies for two girls aged 4 and 6 in Qatar. Our client is looking for a professional who is not only proficient in Arabic and fluent in English but also holds a deep understanding of the Islamic faith and holds the ability to teach the Quran to the children. The Governess will play a crucial role in ensuring the children's well-being, education, and overall development. The Governess will be responsible for providing a nurturing and educational environment for two young children, whilst upholding their cultural and religious values.
Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of 4-6 nannies, ensuring they provide exceptional care to the children.

Create a structured and nurturing environment that fosters the children's growth and development.

Teach the Quran and Islamic values to the children, incorporating religious education into their daily routine.

Oversee inventory management for children's belongings, ensuring all necessary supplies are well-maintained and organised.

Monitor and enforce cleanliness, organisation, and hygiene standards around the children.

Ensure that homework assignments are completed, and educational goals are met, especially in English.

Plan and implement age-appropriate educational and recreational activities to stimulate the children's learning and creativity.

Foster good behaviour and discipline, instilling manners, respect, and cultural awareness.

Maintain open and transparent communication with the parents regarding the children's progress and well-being.
Ideal Candidate:

Fluent in English and proficient in Arabic.

Profound understanding of the Islamic faith and the ability to teach the Quran and Islamic values to children.

Previous experience as a Governess or in a similar role, with a background in child education.

Leadership skills to effectively manage a team of nannies.

Detail-oriented with exceptional organisational skills, including inventory management.
