Your primary responsibility will be overseeing the dishes that are presented to our principal. You will have control over the cooking and presentation of each dish, while also showcasing your own unique creations. This role is hands-on, emphasising the importance of practical culinary skills rather than administrative tasks.
We are particularly interested in candidates who have extensive travel experience and have been exposed to a wide range of ethnic cuisines and premium ingredients. Your exposure to diverse culinary traditions will greatly contribute to our team's creativity and innovation.

Responsibilities:
- Possess excellent, comprehensive knowledge of various international cuisines.
- Demonstrate an exceptional understanding of Middle Eastern and Asian cuisines, as well as fusion cooking. Strong knowledge of cooking philosophies, principles, and the ability to create and present all types of Middle Eastern service.
- Exhibit outstanding creativity and skill in food presentation.
- Conduct quality checks on raw and cooked food products to ensure adherence to standards.
- Apply advanced HACCP principles and enforce compliance while also providing training to others.
- Efficiently order necessary food and supplies to support smooth operations.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of cooks and kitchen staff engaged in food preparation.
- Regularly inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas to maintain established standards.
- Determine appropriate food presentation techniques and create attractive, decorative food displays for events and functions.
- Maintain records such as recipe books, guest preferences, and operational data.
- Collaborate with other staff members to plan and develop recipes or menus, considering factors like seasonal ingredient availability.
- Train staff on producing all standard operating recipes.
- Conduct demonstrations of new cooking techniques or equipment for the staff.
- Arrange for equipment purchases or repairs as needed.
- Possess advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications.
Ideal Candidate:
- Private chef experience in a VVIP household mandatory
- 5+ years’ experience working in an acclaimed 5* restaurant or hotel.
- Experience leading a large team

- 2-4-year Culinary degree or equivalent formal culinary training
