English Tutor/Governess

We have a great new opportunity for an experienced female English Tutor/Governess to work for a private UHNWI family in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. You will look after 2 young boys (5 and 8): schedule their days, assist them with homework and coordinate leisure activities. The main focus is on improving the children's understanding and use of the English language, while promoting their education and etiquette. You must have similar experience within the private sector (preferably HNW/UHNW families), as well as knowledge/experience working with Middle Eastern cultures. 

This is a live-out role, with accommodation provided.

– Supervise and care for the children's needs and welfare at all time.
– Organising the children’s daily timetable to study, take activities and sensible rest periods.
– Helping them get ready for school or for the day, including organising their bags & lunches, coordinating transport.
– Conducting all activities in English, to ensure an improvement in their language skills.
– Teaching them life skills and etiquette.
– Working closely with the parents and regularly report the children's achievements.
– Helping with schoolwork and/or acts as a tutor for the children by supervising daily homework and work.

Ideal candidate: 
– Similar experience working as a Governess, Nanny, Private Tutor
– Experience working in the Middle East/or with Middle Eastern cultures is essential
– Candidates must be female, for cultural reasons
– Someone who loves caring for children and is able to easily create a rapport with them.
– Well presented
– Have a flexible attitude
– Willing to travel if/when required
– Highly professional
– Must be fully vaccinated against Covid
– Experience with VVIP clients
– Arabic comprehension is desirable, but not essential (as the focus will be on English).
