We are in search of a seasoned domestic couple to engage in a full-time, year-round position for our esteemed private client based in Belgium. The residence boasts 11 bedrooms, and the family frequents the property during October, November, and parts of December. A significant amount of guest hosting occurs during the hunting season, complemented by infrequent visits during the rest of the year. The ideal candidates should be fluent in French and have prior experience working together within private estates. On-site private accommodation is provided. Primary responsibilities include catering for up to 20 guests during hosting events, regular housekeeping, and property maintenance. Essentially, the couple will function as a managerial duo, ensuring the property remains in pristine condition, especially in anticipation of the family's visits.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring property is in pristine condition and maintained to excellent working conditions
- Cooking for up to 20 guests during parties and when the owners hosts visitors during the months of October and November
- Making sure that the property is set-up pre-arrival of the owners and their family
- Housekeeping to high standards
- Interior management
- Working as a duo and ensuring the property is well kept
- Being on hand to help the family when they visit
- Looking after the dogs (x4)
Ideal Candidate:
- Fluent French and Dutch preferred, English essential
- Driving licence
- Experience working as a domestic couple
- Kind, polite,, down to earth and hard working
- EU passport holders only
- A couple who can commit to a long term role preferred, previous family staff have been working for this client for 10 years+ in each property
