Silver Swan are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deckhand to join the existing crew onboard our esteemed client’s 50m private yacht in Dubai, UAE, ready to set sail around the captivating waters of the GCC throughout the winter season. As a Deckhand, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the yacht runs smoothly and efficiently, providing the highest standard of service and maintenance for our prestigious client whilst helping to maintain the yacht’s exterior whilst docked and on voyage. The successful Deckhand candidate will begin their winter season onboard from December 1st, 2023, starting in Dubai, with the possibility to work throughout the summer season as the yacht sails around the Mediterranean from June onwards. Responsibilities:

Performing wash-downs to keep the yacht impeccably clean and presentable.

Expertly polishing and varnishing various surfaces to maintain their pristine condition.

Meticulously cleaning and caring for the teak deck, ensuring it remains in top shape.

Taking on tasks allocated by the Captain and Management crew.

Undertaking sanding and painting tasks as necessary to preserve the yacht's aesthetics.

Engaging in general maintenance activities to keep all onboard systems running smoothly.

Operating and assisting with the yacht tenders as required, showcasing your versatility.
Ideal Candidate:

A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Deckhand on yachts, demonstrating a proven track record.

A mature personality with a hands-on and proactive approach to duties.

Valid STCW Basic Safety training certification to ensure safety compliance.

Preferably, a Superyacht Deckhand certificate, which showcases your commitment to excellence.
