We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Butler to join our client’s flagship property within their collection of luxury vacation homes in the heart of Provence, France. In this role, the Butler will work closely with the House Manager to ensure the utmost level of service for the residence’s UHNW clientele. We are looking for a Butler who has a strong passion to deliver state-of-the-art service, as well as having a background in hospitality, event planning, and household operations.
Responsibilities:

Cultivate a positive internal and external image of the establishment.

Warmly welcome guests upon arrival and assist the house manager with check-ins.

Provide attentive support to guests throughout their stay, including personal errands.

Collaborate with the concierge to facilitate restaurant reservations, excursions, taxis, and airport transfers.

Assist the concierge in planning events, parties, and dinners.

Work alongside the chef to set dinner tables and serve during meals.

Ensure the smooth execution of hosted events, parties, and dinners.
House Management:

Collaborate with the assistant chief housekeeper to meet company cleaning standards.

Coordinate maintenance tasks and promptly address technical issues (e.g., pool, air conditioning, electrical, internet).

Manage orders for breakfast, cleaning supplies, and room amenities.

Preserve the house’s artworks, antiques, and silverware.
Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience in a similar role in UHNW private residences or 5-star hotels (experience on high-end cruise ships or yachts is also acceptable).

Fluent in English; knowledge of French is advantageous.

Possession of a valid driver’s license.

Able to start in April 2024 – September 2024, potential to extend to the following season.
Package:
- Location: Provence, France
- Salary: €2,500 (net) + tips
