Silver Swan is presently seeking an Assistant Palace Manager to become a part of our esteemed UHNW Client’s residence in Qatar. The Assistant Palace Manager will bear the responsibility of supervising day-to-day operations, ensuring the pinnacle of service, and overseeing a substantial and ever-expanding team of staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Palace Manager in overseeing and managing all aspects of the household, from cleanliness to uniform standards.
  • Conduct daily inspections to ensure impeccable presentation (for example: uniform compliance, pillow placements, and overall cleanliness).
  • Collaborate with the Palace Manager in understanding and respecting the dynamics and customs of the Arabic family.
  • Efficiently manage and lead a team of 50 staff, with the expectation of scaling up to 150 staff within the next year.
  • Coordinate and implement staff schedules, duties, and training programs to maintain excellence in service.
  • Assist in organising and managing special events, gatherings, and formal dinners hosted at the residence.
  • Maintain open and respectful communication with the Palace Manager and UHNW family members.
  • Be prepared to step into the Palace Manager’s role in their absence.

 

Ideal Candidate:

  • Demonstrated experience in high-profile household management or related field within a UHNW environment.
  • Cultural sensitivity and understanding of Arabic traditions.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
  • Experience managing an international team of staff.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain impeccable standards.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the discretion to handle sensitive information.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and capable of problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
