Silver Swan is currently searching for a Temporary Chef & Host Couple to work for our returning client’s villa in St Tropez, France. The ideal Chef & Host Couple join an existing and well stablished team at one of our client’s flagship villas for a repeat VIP guest. The ideal Chef & Host couple will be required to work from the 1st of August until the 17th of August.

Please Note: Candidates must hold an EU passport or the right to work in France prior to applying as, unfortunately, we do not offer visa sponsorship. If you do not hold an EU passport or the right to work in France upon applying, your application will NOT be considered.


  • Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner service on a rota with a team of 2x additional chefs and 2x additional Villa Hosts
  • Keeping your villa kitchen clean and tidy at all times, and helping out in other areas when needed
  • Pre-arrival checks with guests to find out about any dietary requirements and menu options
  • Strictly maintain all food, health and hygiene kitchen standards on a daily basis
  • Prepare welcome drinks/eats for new arrivals
  • Ensure guest queries are answered speedily and any special requests are met at the earliest opportunity
  • Go above and beyond to ensure guests have an unforgettable holiday by creating a warm atmosphere from the moment they arrive through to their departure
  • Set and clear dining tables and dining room – including table decoration
  • To be always conscious of general hygiene, maintaining high health and safety standards

Ideal Candidate:

  • Must have a background working as a chalet or villa chef
  • Must be excellent in service and hosting high profile clients
  • Must be well spoken, confident and able to multi-task
  • Excellent guest relations and interpersonal skills
  • Good self-motivation, organised, highly flexible and pro-active
  • A Full EU Driving License is essential for at least one of the candidates
  • Work experience in Michelin starred or Rosette Level establishments, corporate hospitality, yachts, previous ski seasons and luxury travel companies are all desirable
