Reports To: Estate Manager
Summary: We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Executive Housekeeper to oversee the daily operations of a large private estate in Saudi Arabia.
The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, exceptional management skills, and a deep understanding of housekeeping and luxury hospitality standards.
A minimum of 15 years of relevant Housekeeping experience is required by the client, due to the size of the estate/team and the ultra luxury nature of the property.
The Executive Housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining the estate in impeccable condition, while ensuring the highest level of service and guest satisfaction.
- Manage and supervise a large team (50+) of housekeeping staff.
- Develop and maintain a housekeeping schedule to ensure the timely and thorough cleaning of all estate areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, living spaces, and common areas.
- Ensure the proper care and cleaning of fine furnishings, antiques, and delicate items.
- Oversee the preparation of guest rooms and accommodations, ensuring they are immaculate and welcoming for visitors.
Inventory and Supplies:
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and other household items, and ensure they are replenished as needed.
- Source and maintain relationships with vendors to procure high-quality supplies and materials.
Maintenance and Repairs:
- Identify maintenance and repair needs within the estate and communicate these needs to the appropriate maintenance personnel.
- Ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed promptly to maintain the estate's condition.
Training and Development:
- Provide ongoing training to housekeeping staff, ensuring they are knowledgeable about the estate's unique needs and expectations.
- Set performance standards and evaluate staff regularly to maintain high service standards.
Security and Confidentiality:
- Maintain the utmost discretion and professionalism, understanding the need for privacy in a private estate.
- Implement security protocols and procedures to protect the estate, its guests, and staff.
- Proven experience as an Executive Housekeeper or in a similar role in a luxury hospitality environment (minimum 15 years)
- Knowledge of fine furnishings, antiques, and the care of delicate items.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Experience managing very large teams (50+ staff).
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and equipment.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and demands.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
